Showing off some new very good-looking phones
Recently, Wiko, the smartphone brand that hails from Marseille, France, just announced not one but three new devices for the smartphone lineup. Two of the devices introduced slots perfectly into the View2 series. The phones were shown off at IFA Berlin 2018. At face value, the new devices are getting a colour lift, sporting a more unique look to freshen up your mobile experience.
First up, we have the Wiko View2 PLUS. As mentioned, it is a new entry in the View2 series, and it comes with a 5.93-inch HD+ display with a notch on top, offering you a 19:9 aspect ratio on the device. It is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Luckily, you can increase the storage with a microSD card of up to 256GB. To keep you connected and powered throughout the day, the phone has a massive 4,000 mAh battery. For the cameras, you have a dual 12-megapixel rear camera setup, as well as an 8-megapixel front camera that can utilise facial recognition to unlock the device. Lastly, the phone runs on Android 8.1 right out of the box.
The other device announced was the Wiko View2 GO in the View2 series. It shares some similar specs to the PLUS but with some major differences in terms of performance. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be upgraded with a microSD card of up to 128GB. The other difference comes in the form of cameras as well, coming with a single 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. As for the similarities, it has a 5.93-inch HD+ display and a 4,000 mAh battery on the device.
Lastly, Wiko also announced and showed off the Wiko harry2. Dressed with a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is armed with a Mediatek MT6739WA processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that luckily can be expanded with a microSD card of up to 128GB. For all your pictures and selfies, the phone is packed with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Auto Scene detection and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is then topped with a 2,900 mAh battery, sufficient to keep you updated on all the social media posts and some light gaming and internet browsing.
All three devices should be landing on local grounds soon, so expect us to have these devices on hand to review and test once they drop. Currently, the View2 PLUS comes in Anthracite, Gold and Super Nova. The Super Nova colour variation is a combination of Green, Blue and Purple. As for the View2 GO, it comes in Anthracite, Deep Bleen, Cherry Red and Supernova, while the harry2 will be available in Anthracite, Gold, Bleen and Cherry Red.
