Get To Work

Notebook have become a large part of our lives now, especially in companies where people move about a lot. More often than not we have friends and family asking for recommendations for notebooks for work, because it’s just so convenient to be able to take your work back home. Notebooks will continue to be an important part of the workforce and for good reason.

Dell has been a household name when it comes to notebooks for a long time, and you’d find it hard not to find a campus that doesn’t have a student owning a Dell. Maybe you’ll soon see the Dell Inspiron 15 5570 on a table along the corridors of a campus or even an office desk. The Inspiron 15 has what it takes to be a powerful tool for multi-tasking, as it sports an eighth generation Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB of RAM, perfect for those who wish to do video editing.

It doesn’t lack in performance, nor does it lack in storage with 128GB of SSD space for all your important software and applications, and 1TB of HDD for everything else. The large 15.6-inch anti-glare display features rich colour and crisp text that make word processing and reading a pleasing experience. The speakers, combined with the display, also proved to be a great experience whether for gaming, watching movies, or even just going on YouTube.

Speaking of gaming, you’ll be able to do some light gaming thanks to the dedicated Radeon 530, which should serve as a distraction when you’re “off duty”. There’s also a lot of different connectivity options to choose from, ranging from USB Type-C and even an SD card reader. Something you don’t see very often as well is the addition of a CD drive, but there’s still a lot of offices and campus’ that require the use of CD’s even in this day and age.

CHIP CONCLUDE: If you’re looking for a day-to-day workstation, you can consider the Dell Inspiron 15 5570 a confident candidate.
