4K Magic In The Air

The age of 4K is slowly but surely coming, and why not? Higher resolution means more details on the screen, and although content is still low at the moment for 4K it is said that the quantity of content for 4K will rise exponentially within the next few years. The rise in popularity of 4K televisions is also another reason to support the creation of 4K content. But a 4K monitor on a PC also comes with other advantages, besides being able to play 4K content.

Something like the Viewsonic VP3268-4K is a fine example of a 4K display. It sports a SuperClear IPS Panel that produces accurate colours along with great vibrancy in a wide viewing angle. Built for professionals, the monitor is factory calibrated to deliver Delta E<2 colour accuracy. It also features 6-axis colour adjustment functionality that designers would love for professional applications, providing incredible colour processing capabilities.

Not only that, it supports HDR10 content for dynamic colours that have brighter colours and richer contrast. There’s also a large variety of connectivity ranging from DisplayPort, mini DisplayPort and HDMI which are HDCP 2.2 ready. Other than that the display is surrounded by an ultra-thin bezel, which makes it perfect for multi monitor usage as it connects seamlessly with other monitors, bezel to bezel. The stand is also sturdy and strong with great articulation for height and tilt. Since the display is rather heavy, it’s good to know that the stand can hold its weight with no problem.

It’s a given that more resolution means more things you can fit into the screen, and with its large 32-inch display we definitely managed to fit a lot of different programs and applications to multitask during work – opening multiple browser tabs and documents for referencing, all while having sharp and crisp text that are easy to read. Adjusting colours for our images also went great, thanks to the colour accuracy our prints came out exactly the way we wanted them to. We enjoyed using the VP3268-4K for anything that requires great colours, such as looking through photography galleries and watching movies, and of course for graphics design purposes and more.

CHIP CONCLUDE: If you need a large workspace for your graphics design works and more, the VP3268-4K is an amazing choice that features great colours and connectivity.
