The Phone To View

The year has basically just started but some are already hard at work, like honor with their honor View 10. The honor View 10 was dubbed the best of CES 2018 by Android Authority and many others for continuing where the brand left off with the honor Magic. A bold attempt at innovation and a sign of the future, the honor View 10 is a true AI phone.

A Kirin 970 octa-core processor is used to power the honor View 10 together with a whopping 6GB of RAM, providing a smooth and responsive experience that’s important for smartphones of this day and age. Performance wise the View 10 truly excels at just about everything it does, like web surfing, gaming, opening multiple apps without any issues, you’re in for a seriously smooth experience. Not only that, the honor View 10 also sports a massive 128GB of built-in memory to store all your photos and videos. Don’t worry though if you have a bad case of trigger finger because you can expand your storage further with up to 256GB of expandable storage using a microSD card.

The 5.99-inch display follows the 18:9 aspect ratio that continues to grow in popularity, along with a resolution of 1080 x 2160. Then we have the 20+16MP rear camera that takes advantage of the AI capabilities of the View 10. It can identify 13 different types of scenes and objects, then adjusts camera settings accordingly for better overall picture quality. The front camera can also take advantage of the AI to produce sharper and more accurate portrait pictures. This proved right on both accounts as pictures came out amazing when using either one of the cameras.

The honor View 10 also features a hybrid dual-SIM slot where you may use two nano SIM cards or one nano SIM and a microSD card. The battery is a large 3,750mAh Li-Po battery, which requires a charge once maybe every 2-3 days according to your usage. But even when you’re low on battery, the View 10 has its own quick charge function so you can spend more time on your phone than you do charging it.

CHIP CONCLUDE: An excellent phone for anyone to have, and covers all the important bases that a smartphone should have in this day and age.
