Sony announces the all new BRAVIA A8F 4K HDR OLED TV, expanding their BRAVIA LED line-up delivering cutting-edge premium OLED TVs to a wider audience. The new A8F inherits Sony’s unique 4K HDR picture processor-X1 Extreme, and the Acoustic sound Surface technology to give not only high visual quality but awe-inspiring sound.

As an OLED TV, the A8F series produces an incredibly detailed picture with deep blacks, rich and realistic colours and an exceptionally wide viewing angle. Sony’s more than half a century worth of picture processing expertise lends to precise control of the 9 million OLED pixels for a stunning realisation of an unparalleled 4K HDR picture, while Acoustic Surface Technology allows the sound to come from the screen, creating an entertainment experience with a beautiful picture.

The A8F features OLED as a display device with 8 million self-illuminating pixels bringing a significantly enriched visual experience with unprecedented black, authentic colour, and a wide viewing angle. As stated above it also houses the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme providing the ultimate in 4K HDR viewing experience by incorporating three technologies. Object-based HDR Remaster, Super bit Mapping 4K HDR and Dual database processing.

It also features TRILUMINOS Display further enhancing colour accuracy, vibrancy with expanded colour. Also by using technologies like 4K X-Reality PRO the A8F produces stunning detail with Sony’s unique algorithm of reality creation database for any content, such as TV broadcasts, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Internet videos and digital photos. The A8F is also HDR compatible to receive and process the new video standard signal with higher brightness, higher contrast and more vibrant colours via Internet video services and HDMI.
