Acer Malaysia has launched their newest additions to its Predator Gaming line in Malaysia, lead by the powerful yet thin Predator Triton 700 laptop. The Predator Triton 700 laptop comes with the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with Max-Q which allows for further overclocking of the graphics card. Not only that, it has a low profile N-key rollover mechanical keyboard. Also launched at the event was the curved screen Predator X34P and Z35P gaming monitor that offer UltraWide display featuring NVIDIA G-SYNC for ultra smooth and immersive performance and experience.
A little more information about the Predator Triton 700 is that it has two NVMe PCIe SSDs in RAID 0 configuration and up to 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz memory for maximum speed and massive storage. Also thanks to Acer’s Dual AeroBlade 3D FAn with the world’s thinnest metal blade at only 0.1mm, the thermal system is hyper efficient at cooling and exhausting heat out of the upper and lower air intake. For a truly immersive gaming experience, the VR-ready Predator Triton 700 offers bright, vibrant visuals on a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display supporting G-SYNC for faster and smoother gameplay. Perfect gaming visuals with a 170-degree viewing angle along with a 120Hz refresh rate for blur-free action and minimal stuttering.
Then we have the Predator X34P a 34-inch 21:9 monitor with a UltraWide QHD display resolution of 3440 x 1440, it has a 1900R curvature for immersive gaming and an IPs panel to deliver great colours while gaming. Whereas the Z35P has a 35-inch display and 1800R curvature with the same UltraWide QHD resolution, but uses a VA panel for better blacks, contrast and viewing angles. Not only that, the monitors are equipped with Predator GameView that can be used to tweak and save three different custom modes for gamers to switch to during gaming.
Acer has also launched a few gaming peripherals, the Predator Galea 500 headset and the Predator Cestus 500 gaming mouse. The Galea comes with Acer TrueHarmony 3D Soundscape technology that recreates the acoustic space based on the orientation of the player’s head, convincing the brain that sound is coming from a fixed direction, and we see this being popular for VR games. While the Cestus features a dual Omron switch design which allows users to adjust the click resistance of the mouse according to the game they’re playing. Whether for left-handed or right-handed gamers the Cestus has a customisable ambidextrous design for up to 4 different configurations for the ultimate fit and ergonomic comfort.
Finally, they also revealed a surprise called the Predator Orion 9000. A gaming desktop which supports up to four RX VEGA cards and an Intel i9 Extreme Edition 18-core processor. The desktop is cooled using Acer’s Ice Tunnel 2.0 a thermal innovation with advanced airflow management which smartly separates the different thermal zones of the system, each with an individual airflow tunnel to expel heat. Designed for the hardcore gamer , the Orion 9000 also has an adaptable chassis which allows gamers to upgrade the CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage effortlessly for future upgrades.
