Today, ViewSonic Corp., launched two new monitors built for professionals, whose work depends on colour accuracy. Presenting the VP2768, and VP3268-4K. Adams Lee, the President of ViewSonic Europe and Asia Pacific said: “With the release of the VP2768 and VP3268-4K, ViewSonic is offering two excellent professional display solutions that will satisfy even the most demanding colour enthusiasts.”
The VP2768 is a 27-inch monitor with WQHD IPS display and a frameless design, that allows you to combine multiple monitors together without the awkward bezels on the side. It is capable of covering 99% of the sRGB colour gamut with its 14-Bit colour that can produce over 4 trillion colours on the monitor. It has a 60Hz refresh rate, with 14ms of response time. The surface of the panel is anti-glare and covered with hard-coating, to ensure that you can still work on your projects even with the sun blaring on your monitor. It comes with two HDMI ports, one display port, and one mini display port.
As for the VP3268-4K, it is the first monitor within the VP series to have 4K UHD, marking the first step of its series to veer towards 4K UHD. As the name suggests, the VP3268-4K comes with a 32-inch 4K UHD IPS display, and has 4K HDR support that will deliver High Dynamic Range colour and detail enhancements for HDR content. It also sports a frameless design, for ease of a multi-monitor setup. Port wise, it comes with two HDMI ports, one display port and one mini display port. It also comes with internal speakers, so you have no need to plug in external speakers, saving you more space on your desktop.
Both monitors are already pre-calibrated right out of the box that achieves professional grade Delta E<2 accuracy and Delta Lv<5% uniformity, which are important for colour-critical applications. Some additional hardware calibration options are also available, and are co-developed with colour management experts, X-Rite.
ViewSonic has also announced “ViewCare”, a service for the VP68 series that includes coverage of Zero Bright Dots, Panel Coverage, Advanced Swap and X-Rite Recalibration, to ensure that customers will be happy and have ease of mind when it comes to defective monitors. With Premium Service, customers will have a replacement monitor shipped to them before sending their defective monitor back to ViewSonic with Advanced Swap.
