Acer Malaysia today revealed its latest line of devices, which comprise of two laptops refreshed with the latest eight generation Intel processors, Acer’s first monitor that features an UltraWide QHD+ display, the P series projectors and an All-in-One (AIO PC). The portable Spin 5 convertible laptop is now powered by an eight-generation Intel processor, while the slim and light-weight Swift 3 comes with NVIDIA’s GeForce MX150 graphics for the 15.6-inch model.

Sturdy yet flexible thanks to its patented dual-torque hinge, the Acer Spin 5 is built for everyday use. With a single charge giving up to 13 hours of usage time, this is one laptop that is ideal for users on the go. Furthermore, the 15.6-inch model also offers a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 option for users who demand significantly better speed and power efficiency from their graphics card.

The new Spin 5 is thinner than its predecessor with the 13.3-inch model measuring in at 15.9mm thin, while the 15.6-inch model is 17.99mm thin. Sporting a sleek body with an eye-catching metal design and durable hinge for easy convertibility to four useful modes between laptop, tablet, display and tent modes. The Acer Spin 5 is priced from RM3,599 to RM4,999 depending on the configuration users choose.

Then there’s the Acer Swift also upgraded with the latest eighth generation Intel processors, and have the additional option of adding a NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics for the 15.6-inch model. With up to 10-hours of battery life, the Acer Swift 3 boosts performance and power efficient for all-day work. Downloading on wireless connectivity will be three times faster with the latest 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology, allowing for smoother streaming and a better browsing experience. The price for the Acer Swift 3 with the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics is RM4,299, and available in Stellar Blue and Steel Grey.

If you’re looking for a curved monitor then Acer has unveiled the Acer XR382CQK their first monitor featuring a 37.5-inch IPS curved 21:9 screen with UltraWide QHD+ display. With a 2300R curvature, it presents a high-end immersive experience with a wider field of view and increased perceived area of peripheral vision compared to a flat display.
