4G LTE For Multiple Devices

Now that smartphones have become a norm, and everyone getting information most of the time from the internet, fast mobile internet speed is essential. When travelling, especially to foreign countries, you’ll spend a lot of time using your mobile internet to gain information and to get around, and if you’re with a group of people your hotspot could quickly eat up precious battery.

In comes the DWR-932C, which looks and feels like one of those audiophile media players you see nowadays, resembling a much thicker iPod Classic or Fiio X1. It fits into your pockets snugly but will bulge out a bit due to its thickness. The setup is particularly simple: All you have to do is slot in your SIM card and it’ll instantly share your 4G LTE internet connection through a secure wireless network.

The router can be configured to work as a Wi-Fi router or a 4G modem by tethering to your PC or laptop. Using D-Link’s EZFi app on your mobile phone, you can easily manage and configure the router according to your needs. We’ve tested the router using different carriers in Malaysia like Maxis, U Mobile and Digi and they all worked great. We have also tried connecting up to 6 or 7 devices to the mobile router and everyone had decent speeds when surfing websites, but be sure to keep an eye open for data usage.

D-Link rates the battery life to up to 5 hours, but if you’re not in constant use you can keep it working for an entire day. Charging the router is done using a micro USB cable and within a few hours we are back to full power and ready to travel with it again. For those who want an easy way to connect to the mobile router, especially when there are multiple devices, the router features WPS for easy and hassle free connecting.

CHIP CONCLUDE: A travelling family or group’s best friend, the D-Link DWR-932C is a 4G LTE mobile router you should get.
