Yesterday, Dell launched their latest iteration of the XPS series with the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 at Lowyat Plaza. A convertible laptop that’s built with XPS specs is a rare sight indeed. We got a chance to attend the launch and to witness the beauty of this XPS 13 2-in-1.

This 2-in-1 sports a mechanised aluminium body all over the convertible, even on its 360 hinge. The palm rest area is made of carbon fibre for extra protection and to keep the device cool. But one of the major talking points of this device is with its display. Featuring an InfinityEdge screen on the device, bezels are no longer an issue with its edge to edge 13.3-inch Quad HD display. With its 360-degree hinge, you can position the convertible laptop multiple ways.

With several specifications available for different consumers, ranging from a choice of i5 or i7, 8GB or 16GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB PCIe SSD and others. Dell also said that it could last up to 15 hours when running on Full HD display mode. This convertible laptop only weighs 1.24kg, and has a dimension of 199 x 304 x 13.7 mm. On the security side of things, it has a fingerprint sensor under the arrow keys, and Microsoft Hello is also available on the device, making use of its dual camera.
