ZOWIE Gear by BenQ recently launched their brand new line of gaming products in Malaysia, ranging from monitors, mice and mousepads. Alongside the launch, BenQ held their eXTREMELAND Zowie Asia Cup Malaysia Qualifiers in front of a live audience, where hundreds of fans watched as 32 teams competed for a place in eXTREMELAND Zowie Asia Finals.
Whilst the competition was raging on, BenQ showcased their latest gaming products that prioritised performance over aesthetics. Their FK, EC-A and ZA series mice that are built and developed for comfort and performance without compromise were present at the event. To showcase the performance of their peripherals, members of the media were given the chance to test each of the different varieties of mice along with their different mousepads, while gaming to various games across genre’s such as CS:GO, Overwatch and DoTA.
ZOWIE’s gaming peripherals have been gaining great reception from professional gamers all over the world. Furthermore, ZOWIE monitors are the go-to monitors for world-class tournaments such as Major League Gaming, Intel Extreme Masters, Dreamhack and many more. And with the day coming to an end, team MVP Karnal emerged as the champions for the eXTREMELAND ZOWIE Asia Cup Malaysia Qualifier. The team will represent Malaysia to compete on the international stage from 22 September to 26 September 2016 for USD100,000, in what is largely considered as one of the most prestigious CS:GO event to date.
ZOWIE’s lineup of gaming mice, namely the ZA series, the FK series and the EC-A series are now available in stores such as Ultimate Zone in Jaya One and Gamers Hideout Sunway Pyramid and 1 Utama for RM299. ZOWIE’s cable management system meanwhile costs RM119, while the mousepads start at RM99, up to RM139 depending on the model and size.
