Product placements are relatively common these days and the partnerships are great ways to showcase a brand’s product. This year, AOC has partnered with Twenty Century Fox once again to become the official monitor partner for the movie “Independence Day: Resurgence”.
Along with the announcement of this partnership, AOC also launched its latest series of monitors called the ‘raXor’. This new line of monitors features an ultra-slim body and narrow bezels, making it more immersive and ideal options for a multi-monitor setup.
There are three monitors in the new series: I2281FWH (21.5-inch), I2481FXH (23.8-inch), and I2781FH (27-inch). All three are IPS monitors, which means they have excellent viewing angles and highly accurate colour representation. They also come with the Clear Vision feature that converts SD video sources to HD, thus improving on image sharpness. To make the monitor better for long hours of use, the monitors also have Flicker Free technology to make it less stressful on the eyes.
According to Wallace Lim, Sales Manager of AOC Malaysia, user-friendly features and optimal performances are two of the main considerations when the company developed the raXor. “AOC developed the raXor monitor with consumers in mind. We not only sought to understand what the market wants out of a monitor, but we listened carefully to their feedback. Therefore, the raXor not only caters to modern design aesthetics, but also the demand for high-performance displays that are ideal for both professional and home use,” he said.
The new monitors will be available around July 2016 through AOC’s partners and distributors for the following price: 12281FWH (RM558), I2481FXH (RM728), and I2781FH (RM1,058). AOC also announced that it has signed a partnership with 11street, which means that AOC monitors – including the new raXor – will also be available for purchase via 11street.
