The long wait is over, for the Lenovo Malaysia has launched the second generation of the Moto 360 smartwatch. Thanks to a variety of design, like a Sport Edition, the Moto 360 is highly customisable and suitable for any occasion. The smart timepiece helps users maintain their active online lifestyles.
At a public launch in Mid Valley Megamall’s Centre Court, Lenovo Malaysia’s Country Manager for Smartphone, Foo Mun Yee, said: “Today’s society is always-on. We are constantly in touch and connected with one another. While we love our phones, we are still looking for an intuitive device that complements our desire to stay connected, while at the same time allowing us the freedom to disconnect. The Moto 360 is the perfect device which will enable us to make time for ourselves, and stay connected at the same time.”
New and improved from the very successful first generation of the Moto 360, the new version now has designs for both men and women. Now with a quick-release feature, owners of the Moto 360 can easily swap between either leather or metal bands when they desire.
For those with active lifestyles, they can opt for the Moto 360 Sport Edition. This edition is designed to give users the right information they need without having to bring their phone on a run, as the Moto 360 is able to track speed, distance and pace with its on-board GPS. Also built into the Moto 360 and the Moto 360 Sport is the Moto Body, a comprehensive suite of health and wellness apps made to help the user live a healthier lifestyle. Using highly accurate sensors on the smartwatch, users can track heart rate and calories burnt, then receive valuable feedback and coaching on how to improve their individual fitness.
Furthermore, the smartwatch features the AnyLight hybrid display, which makes it possible to use the device be it indoors or outdoors. The Moto 360 Sport is able to switch between AnyLight hybrid mode or the normal display mode based on the lighting condition too.
The Moto 360 is a device that’s interested in helping the user stay on top of his or her notifications. With Ambient Mode, the display can help you to easily keep track of all notifications without needing to check your smartphone constantly. It also has the voice related features, allowing you to do things like search for a location or even respond to your messages using voice.
Those who are interested in purchasing the Moto 360 can do so at SenQ, Urban Republic and Thunder Match stores in Malaysia, or order it online via Lazada Malaysia.
