Fans, cosplayers and gamers filled the halls of StarXpo, Kenanga Wholesale City during the return of the Xpax Fantasy Fest. The two day action-packed weekend where anime, comic and game characters come to life was open to the public to enjoy. The event saw a vast reception of gamers who battled it out in gaming tournaments and also cosplayers who came to portray their favourite characters.
The event also housed the appearance of international anime singers Yun Chi and Elisa who performed live on stage for those who were present. Also, 40 lucky Magic SIM customers experienced an exclusive meet and greet session with the two international singers backstage. While cosplayers had the chance to meet international celebrity cosplayers from around the world. Misa (Taiwan), Danielle (Brazil) and Masazi (Japan) saw throes of fans waiting in line for their autographs and photos.
Gamers alike were having the time of their life battling it out on the virtual field with games such as DoTA 2, Rocket League, FIFA16, and Hearthstone. Not only that, long-running trading card game Magic: The Gathering also attracted a huge crowd of players. But gamers aren’t the only ones who were battling out to be the best, the cosplay competition for the solo category had the winner winning a grand prize of a four day three nights visit to Osaka, Japan for two. Where they will be experiencing the Animax Music event as well as a tour around the city of Osaka.
