Huawei today launched its latest flagship smartphone device in the form of the honor 7 at The Bee, Publika, Solaris Dutamas today. Brandishing their slogan “Your unfair advantage” the honor 7 is set to give you your money’s worth, competing with other flagship models at a very competitive price. Equipped with a host of innovative smart functions and multimedia capabilities the honor 7 will help Malaysians excel in life.
The phone has a fully metallic body and is air-brushed with a ceramic coating, exuding a premium feel. But with a full metallic body comes signal interference which Huawei has addressed with their dual-antenna design, placing one antenna on the top and another at the bottom of the phone to ensure strong connectivity. The honor 7 is also ergonomically designed for single-handed use with its 5.2-inch casing and carefully positioned buttons and sensors provides a never seen before ergonomic single-handed operation.
Also getting an upgrade is honor’s fingerprint reader, currently in its second iteration, which allows rapid 360-degree fingerprint authentication from various angles. Boasting one of the fastest unlocking speeds of 0.5 seconds, the honor 7’s fingerprint reader also features a self-learning capability that allows scanning accuracy to be enhanced through subtle re-recording of registered fingerprints during use.
Powered by the ever-intelligent HiSilicon octa-core Kirin 935 processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB of storage space, the honor 7 has much to offer, providing consistently smooth performance. Its L-shaped circuit board also allows better cooling of up to 40% when playing games. Together with its long-lasting 3,100mAh battery, the phone will offer exceptional standby and use times as well as reverse and quick charging capabilities.
For those who enjoy photography, the honor 7 sports a 20MP f/2.0 aperture camera that is powered by Sony’s IMX 230 sensor and honor’s PDAF fast-focusing technology that allows the capture of vivid low-light condition images. For those who love their selfies, the phone will come with an 8MP front-facing camera that offers a wide-angle f/2.4 aperture lens, with built-in LED flash and combined with the honor 7’s image enhancement capabilities and panorama feature, make it the perfect selfie and groufie tool.
For added convenience, the honor 7 features more voice capabilities than its predecessor and easier taking of screenshots just by tapping the screen twice with your knuckles. The honor 7 is available for pre-order starting from 1:00pm onwards on 21 September 2015 at Vmall.my and will come in two colors, Mystery Gray and Fantasy silver at RM1,399.00.
