Acer announced the availability of its Predator gaming product line at the next@acer event at IFA Berlin. An industry leading portfolio of gaming devices spanning from notebooks, tablets, monitors to peripherals were showcased at the event. Members of TeamAcer eSports were also at the event, sharing how their professional insights helped push the Predator line to its limits.

Acer also shared their intentions to expand the Predator family, for instance projectors ideal for LAN parties and smartphones optimised for gaming with virtual surround sound and haptic feedback. The renewed Acer Predator gaming series represents the company’s passion and commitment towards the gaming community. Engaged in eSports since 2009 and supports “TeamAcer” an eSports team with over 30 professional e-sports players.
Acer strives to provide a no-compromise gaming experience for serious gamers, for those who demand the best by introducing gaming notebooks such as the Predator 17 and Predator 15 which supports the Predator FrostCore, a third fan module that is can be swapped with the optical drive to provide additional cooling, aimed for smoother gameplay on heavy loads.
The Predator 8 tablet meanwhile supports the Predator Quadio, an array of four speakers with a special DSP algorithm that enhances sound quality with virtual surround sound features, as well as the Predator TacSense which provides haptic feedback for games and videos.
The desktop PC gaming market is gaining some traction recently, thanks to Intel’s new Skylake processors. With this in mind, Acer has also introduced the new Predator G6 and G3 desktops that features an armor-covered design on the chassis, powered by Intel’s 6th generation Core processors, which comes with up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, and NVIDIA Geforce GTX graphic cards. With a one-touch overclocking feature Acer has coined “One-Punch Overclocking”, this allows the PC to unleash its full potential at a push of a button. Acer IceTunnel meanwhile is an enhanced thermal system which optimises airflow and brings out internal heat more efficiently.
In addition, there is the Predator Z35 which is a 35-inch 21:9 UltraWide Full HD (2560 x 1080) 144Hz panel with a curvature of 2000R with an overclockable refresh rate of up to 200Hz.
The Aspire V Nitro series has also been refreshed with new designs such as a breakthrough slot-antenna design, where it is discretely positioned on one corner of the display to ensure 360-degree wireless coverage with no dead zones.
