Cooler Master recently announced the availability of the MasterCase 5 and MasterCase 5 Pro, the world’s first mid-sized modular PC towers. The cases support exterior expandability which is made possible through accessories that can be purchased separately. Making their first appearance in Computex 2015, the MasterCase offers unparalleled control over its form and function, and usher in a new era of FreeForm Modular Systems.

The MasterCase 5 sets out to revolutionise the way PCs can be built, designed, and used. Bringing this dream to fruition is the FreeForm technology that gives users absolute control over how their casing looks and functions. Not only does the FreeForm Technology give exterior layout control, it also provides interior layout flexibility.

To further prove the freedom that is given with its FreeForm Technology, Cooler Master invited eight Makers to Computex 2015. Each Makers different in what they do, but share one thing in common, which is their spirit of “making”. Giving each Maker a chance to build a system that’s unique to them, each of them were able to build a rig that signified who they were. From aggressive looking rigs to even a robotic bartending machine that can prepare drinks, the MasterCase 5 served as a platform which allowed each Maker to share their passion with the world.

Within the MasterCase 5, FreeForm allows a single case to be constantly upgraded with different configurations. Users will no longer need to replace their casings or systems to fit their needs. An example would be FreeForm’s Clip-and-Click panel which lets users to adjust the drive cages vertically, or remove it altogether. With such flexibility the MasterCase 5 can be used to build multiple system configurations with just a single case.

At launch, the Mastercase 5 and MasterCase 5 Pro will be available for purchase from selected Cooler Master Channel Partners. The MasterCase 5 will be available at a suggested retail price of RM479 and comes with dual top handles and a standard door, while the MasterCase5 Pro will be available starting 20 August 2015 at a suggested retail price of RM599 and comes with a side windows panel, elevated mesh top cover, and additional interior expandability options.
