A survey made online recently stated that 2/3rds of Malaysians will choose happiness over salaries and job titles. While it is a lofty goal, work still needs to be done – but the point being is that work doesn’t necessarily be stuck in the office. The Intel #WorkFromHappyPlace campaign invites Malaysians to restore their work-life balance, redefine productivity and reinvigorate their creativity with Intel powered devices, such as the HP Stream 8 tablet and the HP Pavilion x2 2in1 convertible.
“For over 50 years, Intel has been refining microprocessor technology to the beat of Moore’s Law. These microprocessors power the continuing evolution of computing devices – from massive data centres and sleek 2in1 devices to smartphones and tablets. Thanks to the close cooperation we here share with customers like HP, we have been able to offer these innovations to consumers,” said Karen Chow, Head of MNC and Telco, Intel Malaysia and Singapore.
Powered by Intel processors, the HP Stream 8 and Pavilion x2 deliver the speed and responsiveness to support anywhere, anytime productivity. They are the ideal companions for a mobile, connected and dynamic workforce driven by passion, freedom and good old-fashioned fun.
The HP Stream 8 is a single-SIM (Micro-SIM) tablet powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G processor (1.8GHz, 4 cores, 4 threads) with Intel HD graphics and 1GB of DDR3 RAM, an 8-inch HD (1280×800 pixels) IPS display, Windows 8.1 and comes with a one-year subscription to Office 365 and 1TB of Microsoft OneDrive storage for one year.
“Today’s consumers demand mobile products that fit their personal style, and allow them to work and play wherever they are. These HP products hit the mark with sleek design, portability and access to free cloud storage,” said Kym Lim, General Manager, Printing & Personal Systems, HP Malaysia.
The HP Pavilion x2 2-in-1 PC meanwhile has a full-featured 10-inch Windows tablet with a detachable dual-purpose keyboard/cover that both protects the screen and serves as a multi-position stand. Powered by the latest-generation Intel Atom processor, it has a battery that lasts up to 11.45 hours for serious staying power to shift from work to play without missing a beat. Like the HP Stream 8 tablet, the HP Pavilion x2 also runs on Windows 8.1 and comes with a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal.
Until 30th of June, if you buy any HP Stream Notebook or the HP Stream 8 Tablet, you will receive a data SIM Starter kit worth RM10, and also be in the running to win weekly prizes, which includes trips to Shangri-la Tanjung Aru, Sabah or Legoland Theme Hotel, Johor.
