Some audio enthusiasts may argue that smartphone makers haven’t been giving the audio side of things much love as of late, so cashing in on this niche, Lenovo Malaysia has just announced that the Lenovo A7000 smartphone, the first in the world to feature Dolby’s Atmos audio technology in a mobile device.

Featuring a 5.5 inch HD (1,280×720) display, the A7000 is powered by a 1.5GHz octo-core MediaTek processor, and features 2GBs of RAM and 8GBs of built-in storage space, which can be expanded via a microSD card, up to 32GBs. It also runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is the latest Google mobile operating system available out there right now.

For users who have multiple numbers, they’ll also be happy to know that the A7000 is a dual-SIM phone, which allows them to use two numbers all in one device, which is highly convenient especially for sales people and marketers on the move, and coupled with a 2,900mAh battery, it is sure to last for quite a while, even during the most hardcore of usage.

Lenovo has also agreed on a limited-time exclusive deal with Lazada, which will see the online shopping portal have exclusive rights to the sale of the phone for six months from its planned date of sale, the 20th of May 2015. Customers who are interested in pre-ordering a Lenovo A7000 may do so by registering their interest on Lazada today onwards, and will be able to purchase the phone at a discounted fee.
