The flagship smartphone competition is heating up as HTC has also announced its latest high-end device in the form of the HTC One M9+. First announced around Mobile World Congress this year, the new flagship device sees HTC combine its timeless unibody aluminum design with brand new components, embodying the company’s philosophy to connect people to their passions and empower them in their own pursuit of brilliance.

The HTC One M9+ features a 5.2 inch 2K display, with a resolution of 1,440×2,560 pixels. It is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek helio X10 octa-core 64-bit processor, together with 3GBs of RAM and 32GBs of built-in storage space, which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, together with the new Sense 7.0 UI, which alongside a new skin, comes with the company’s own EYE experience software, which helps users take truly creative shots with its rear-facing 20MP Duo camera and front-facing 4.0MP UltraPixel camera. It is equipped with the Refocus and Zoe tools, amongst others that ensure your photos are memorable.

Much like its previous iterations, the HTC One M9+ will also come with accessories such as the Dot View case, which adds a more retro personalization thanks to a host of new features and colour options. It now has a transparent back that protects the rear chassis, whilst allowing you to still see its beautiful and intricate design.

As far as availability goes, the HTC One M9+ will be available in Gold on Silver, as well as Gunmetal Gray from today onwards, while the Gold on Gold variant will be made available at a later date. The recommended retail price of the HTC One M9+ is set at RM2,599, inclusive of GST.
