Blazing new trails for devices is not something new for Samsung. It is very obvious with the new range of office printers that was revealed recently. The MX4 series are the first printer range that comes equipped with the Android operating system and are designed to be independent, scalable and intuitive to be used for any typos of business environment.
It will feature Samsung’s Smart UX Centre for PC-independent usage that also feature a consumer friendly UI.

The MX4 Series will introduce Malaysian enterprises to an Android platform which allows our business customers to experience Greater multidimensional and advanced printing technologies,” said Lee Sang Hoon, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd. “Our new printer line will enhance productivity for businesses seeking best in class technology for seamless intergration into their work environment.”
Four series were introduced as part of the Smart printer lineup. It ranges from a mono-multifunction-printer, to a colour-multifunction-printer. There are 10 different models revealed as part of the launch, with print sizes ranging from A4 mono printing, going all the way to A3 full colour printing option.
All models announced feature the Smart UX centre, plus the ability to upgrade their functions via changeable modules, so features such as dual-fax and gigabit Ethernet connectivity can be added on simply by changing the on-board modules.
The printers is available now, with prices starting from RM 6,499 for the mono A4 printer, all the way to RM 37,500 for the colour A3 printer. All prices are GST inclusive.
