The Elefant In The Room

Sometimes we wish we had an audio device that has the ability to fill the room with an ear shattering experience. With the Armaggeddon Panzer III Elefant, that wish can now come true as it gives users a monstrous audio experience.

The massive speaker comes in a long throw bass cabinet design and two satellite speakers that has a black colour scheme. It also has old school audio output connectors which uses exposed wires to connect the two speakers to the subwoofer. The bass, treble and volume dials are placed on the front of the subwoofer while the power button and a USB port is located at the back together with the output connectors. We would have definitely prefered the USB port to be on the front as it would make it easier to access.

As an entertainment device this speaker does not come with many features but it does have an option for a Bluetooth Audio receiver allowing for further connectivity options. The USB port also allows users to charge their smartphones or tablets as they are listening to their media on the speaker. This device also has a wired volume controller allowing you to change the volume without the need to tinker with the device directly.

Performance-wise, this speaker provides a really deep bass when grounded properly. We tested this speaker with games like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare whereby every bullet has that deep impact feel. The speaker also provides a good sense of sound staging with each source being clearly detailed. Movies are also a pleasure when played on this speaker with each explosion providing a deeper immersion.

CHIP CONCLUDE: If there are those out there looking for an audio system to complete their entertainment rooms, the Armaggeddon Panzer III Elefant would be a worthy choice as it deliver clear audio and powerful bass, essentials for music, movies and games.
